I teach students across generations. Age is just a number when it comes to music. Is there a song in you? I can answer that for you: Yes. I teach from a place of striving to sing through the oboe. I’m no vocalist, but I hope I’ve played a delicious note or two, and I would like to help you discover how to do the same.

My experience dates back to making Monday morning 6am drives out to a school in rural Louisiana, teaching for whatever one could afford. More recently, I received the Eastman School of Music’s prestigious Graduate Teaching Assistant Prize, awarded for “Excellence in Teaching” (whew).
